What the problem was:

The international education industry lacked a centralized place for international students to find and connect with schools abroad.

SchooLinks now connects thousands of students to schools all over the world. They have won an incubator program and raised funding.

UC Berkeley’s Entrepreneurs Association

What the problem was:

UC Berkeley’s BEA, needed an interactive website. They were not providing their members the opportunity to interact between each other. For new members, they did not have the option to sign up nor pay their dues.

Geekbears Solution:

Geekbears implemented a forum, that centralized all of UC Berkeley’s startup online community. Users can interact between each other by writing posts. We also implemented a membership system, where new users can sign up and pay their membership dues. This made this process more efficient and streamlined.

YOURTIME

What the problem was:

YourTime is a startup based in Austin Texas. They identified the need to have mechanics fix working professional’s cars while they are at work. This is very convenient for busy working professionals that don’t have the time to go to an auto shop after work.

Geekbears Solution:

We developed a MEAN Stack application for them to handle all the booking logic, allowing working professionals to order and pay services related to car maintenance. We worked with several API’s, including Stripe, Edmunds, Facebook.
